The Many Little Ones Tour ’24).
Tal vez incluso no haber salido nunca.

ENGLISH VERSION
***
It had rained the night before. Ballard woke up all covered in clouds and damp. From the top of its suburban hills, the forests surrounding Seattle faded into the horizon, shrouded in mystery—a sea of trees and plants displaying every color of autumn. Halloween had been just over a week earlier.
This session was recorded on November 14, 2024, at Soundhouse—the legendary studio founded in 1992 by Scotty Crane and managed by Jack Endino—on the final day of our debut U.S. tour (The Many Little Ones Tour ’24).
Jack Endino and his team of assistants handled the studio setup and the recording itself. Setup began at 10:00 AM and took exactly the two hours we had scheduled with the entire crew. I played through a Sunn amp head paired with a 215 cabinet (featuring four speakers). Pancho used the 1960s Fender Twin Reverb that Kurt Cobain had used to record *Bleach*... Sebote played through a Fender Bassman Blackface head, and Cillian played the legendary Ludwig "G-Fog" drum kit—featuring a 14x22 kick drum—which had been used for years by the iconic band Skin Yard.
We had spent the two weeks leading up to this recording touring the Pacific Northwest. Our first date was in Seattle for Freak Out Fest, sharing the bill with artists such as Martin Rev (Suicide), Lydia Lunch, The Black Angels, Love Battery, The Flamin' Groovies, and Jack Endino’s current band, Beyond Captain Orca, among many others. We were invited by Freak Out Fest founder Guy Keltner of the band Acid Tongue, with the collaboration of Alaia D’Alessandro who also played in Little Venom. We performed three shows in Seattle, followed by dates in Olympia, Tacoma, and Bellingham. We also visited Montesano, Aberdeen, Snoqualmie, and North Bend (better known as Twin Peaks).
On the night of the day we held this session, we were scheduled to play our final show of the tour—also in Seattle.
Jack hit record at exactly 12:00 PM.
The songs had been selected beforehand. We did two takes of each song and chose the best one on the spot. The only overdubs were a 12-string acoustic guitar and a tambourine on "Blackbird Lady," played by Pancho and Nes respectively and recorded by Nes Rodriguez at BYM Studios during the second half of 2025.
Everything else is completely live.
Given the limited time available on the day of the recording, the idea was to recreate something akin to a "Peel Session"—a live performance, but one held in the studio.
We played all together in the main room at Soundhouse: Pancho, Seba, Cillian, and myself.
We recorded everything in four hours.
We packed up our gear and said "see you soon" to Jack, his team, and Soundhouse. We hopped in the van and headed to Hotel Crocodile to play our final show. The hotel bar added two drinks to their menu in our honor that night, named "Rosita Queen" and "In Flames." Someone out there must have the recipes for those concoctions...
The following day, November 15th, each member of the Tsunamis Crew would head back to their respective homes.
Had it not been for Nes’s support, patience, and affection, this recording might have taken—who knows—much longer to see the light of day. It might never have been released at all.
Nes mixed and mastered this entire session, and—together with my Tsunamis brother, Pancho Fernández—they gave me the push to edit and release this album. Once again (with feeling): heartfelt thanks to them, as well as to Sebote, Cillian, Eilis, Maggie, Marissi, Jack Endino, and Soundhouse.
We hope you enjoy it. Play it loud.
