Encuentra las Joias del Dub

“La Golden Acapulco encuentra las Joias del Dub” is the result of a trip they took during November and December 2009, covering the Argentinian cities of Mendoza, Córdoba and Buenos Aires; Montevideo (Uruguay); Porto Alegre, Florianópolis , Brusque and Sao Paulo (Brazil). During the trip, dubbed "Atlantic Tour", they met different self-managed collectives of South-América strengthening the Circuit Bending technique, developed by the group in Santiago. The audio includes field recordings recorded in Buenos Aires Community Radio, a creative workshop with acoustic instruments in Montevideo, live acts with international guests, night sounds in Campeche and of course, much of dub. After almost two years of editing, in search of an outcome that reflects the significance of this trip, this first album is released (Ervo Perez, La Golden Acapulco).
